This one and a half hour live webinar will review the content and format of the National Counseling Exam, and introduce tips and strategies for maximizing score performance on the exam.

1. Learners will be introduced to NCE content, format, and test-taking strategies.
2. Learners will self-assess current test taking strategies and knowledge through practice questions.
3. Learners will identify areas for further study and review.

Presenter: Thomas A. Field, Ph.D., LMHC, LPC, NCC, CCMHC, ACS

Thom Field, PhD, is Associate Professor and Department Head for Counselor, Adult, and Higher Education at Oregon State University. He previously worked as a faculty member at Boston University School of Medicine. In addition to faculty responsibilities, he has actively helped clients with mental health concerns since 2006. He has provided counseling to more than 1,000 clients during his career and currently maintains a small private practice. He has provided test prep since 2011 and has worked with hundreds of counselors to pass the CPCE, NCE, and NCMHCE exams.
