In this 1 hour workshop we will explore the growing movement of minimalism and how minimalist concepts and practices can assist clinicians in their own self-care or in supporting clients towards mental health and wellness. Participants will understand the minimalist lifestyle, ideas on how minimalist practices may benefit their own lives, and resources for further study.

Participants in this workshop will be able to:

  2. Gain ideas on how minimalist practices can be integrated into their self-care
  3. Explore practical ways to talk about minimalism with clients

Presenter: Karin Potter, LMHC, CMHS

Karin is an energetic leader in the mental health field whose clinical expertise and innovative approaches to team-building bring programmatic missions into focus. Karin’s clinical work include direct service, clinical supervision, consultation, and mentorship, and practical leadership that supports team professional development. Karin currently works as the Executive Director of Excelsior Wellness Center in Spokane, WA. She has been a practicing minimalist since 2016.
