Neurodiversity, Autism and Sexuality

The combination of human sexuality and nuerodiversity are both profoundly overlooked in graduate clinical training and colliding in the lives of individuals who live at the complex intersection of both. While wanting to serve these clients well, therapists often do not. This workshop is taught by Jack Duroc-Danner, M.Ed, a leading expert at the intersection of Autism and Human Sexuality.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Expand their level of comfort supporting autistic and neurodiverse clients
  • Find and access resources, and create professional connections to complement their practice
  • Explain critiques of the DSM in regards to autism.
  • Explain why it is critical therapists receive training on the topic of human sexuality and neuro-diversity.
