How do Sexuality and Spirituality Co-Inform Each Other?

Matthias Roberts, author of the book, Beyond Shame - Sexuality on your Own Terms, talks with author/speaker Dr. Tina Schermer Sellers about the intersection of spirituality and sexuality, and the fraught relationship the Empire Church has long had with the intersection of these two human desires. Specifically, they talk about the impact of the Empire Church on the LGBTQ community, and how sexual shame can affect a person's sense of self, relationships and sexuality. Both discuss the role therapists and healers can play in helping people to heal from the impact of oppression and hurtful teachings.
